"New Community"

New Community is the English-speaking congregation at our Newton campus. Our goal is to foster an environment so that you, regardless of life stage and cultural and ethnic background, can gather for the purpose of "Loving, Following, and Becoming like Jesus." We are conveniently located in Newtonville off of Exit 17 of the Mass. Pike with ample parking.

Our worship service and children Sunday School starts at 11:00 AM each Sunday. We also offer a range of programs beforehand for everyone to learn more about God and to develop a stronger sense of community: Junior Worship for pre-school through elementary students (9:25AM), TIOB Fellowship for junior and senior high school students (9:15 AM), and Community Bible Time for adults (9:30 AM). Community Bible Time course offerings change every quarter and allow participants to engage in meaningful, informed, and honest discussions about the Bible, spiritual disciplines, Christian living, and related topics in a non-threatening environment.

Throughout the week, New Community members also participate in Home Groups which allow them and their friends to investigate the Bible together and to develop deeper friendships in a more intimate setting. Other community building opportunities include RL2Gether Fellowship for adults and community luncheons run by the Hospitality Team several times a month. We would be delighted if you could join us for any of the above activities and we hope that you will find us to be a place where you can meet God, experience His love for you, and want to return week after week!
