CEC is a pre-evangelism opportunity to build friendship
and share the love of Christ in deeds. It is a people ministry.
Besides teaching ESL, our teachers minister to the various
needs of the students, eg. rides to airport, translating/filling
out forms and documents, hospital/home visitation, financial
help, field trips, outings, home fellowship, prayer support,
etc.
Missions Committee
Contact: Michael Ho
The Missions Committee of BCEC is responsible for the missions
ministry of our church. The committee defines missions as
any ministry that extends beyond the local sphere of influence
of our church. This encompasses both overseas cross-cultural
ministry and ministry to a subculture within the United States.
Examples of such ministry include missions mobilization, education,
short term trips, church planting, evangelism, discipleship,
mercy ministry, and service/development work. The committee
is also involved in the caring ministry for our missionaries.
This is done through support ranging from prayer, physical
and financial means. The Annual Missions Conference is the
highlight of missions ministry at BCEC.

- Michael Ho (General Secretary)
