Alpha
Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the basics of the Christian faith (~11 weeks long). Each session looks at a different question around faith, and the talks are designed to create a nonjudgmental, friendly conversation in small groups afterwards.

Social Responsibility
The mission of the Social Responsibility Ministry (SRM) is to mobilize BCEC members to live out their faith by actively sharing the love, justice, and mercy of God as exemplified by Jesus Christ. The SRM provides opportunities for BCEC members to be better informed, to serve, and support those who are in need through education and hands-on programs. The SR Ministry’s committee stewards the BCEC Charity Fund which financially supports organizations (both locally and globally) that are engaged in Social Responsibility and Social Justice work.

Global Missions
The Missions Committee empowers members to be engaged in fulfilling the Great Commission. We want to encourage worshipers to find their role in this important calling. Our Missions Fund is currently supporting 38 global partners, 22 missions organizations, as well as seminarians. We prioritized our support for those working amongst unreached people groups as well as our BCEC members who are doing frontline work. The annual Missions Conference and short-term missions trips are a couple of important educational tools to help the church see God’s heart and God in action around the world.

Local Evangelism
Continuing with our tradition of serving the immigrants, the Local Evangelism reaches out to the non-Christian community in the Greater Boston area with the heart and eyes of God, and introduces them to the gospel. Our ongoing ministries include restaurant evangelism, visitation, discipleship classes, ESL luncheon, quarterly workshops, and annual outreach events, such as Main Street events and local short-term missions.
