Steve Liu serves as the Director of Project Destiny Ministries, overseeing the after-school and summer camp outreach ministries for local youth and their families. He grew up in Quincy, MA, becoming a Christian as a teenager when he began attending BCEC. He has been a part of Project Destiny Summer Camp’s staff since 1997 and served as a teacher in Boston Public Schools from 2004-2008. He is currently pursuing a degree at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and also holds a B.A. in Literature from Middlebury College.
Steve met his wife, Emily, at BCEC while serving at Project Destiny. They have a young daughter, Talia, and live in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston. He has a ministry passion to equip and encourage the local church to effectively serve the local community with the message of Jesus Christ in both word and deed.
