Elder Chuk-Lam Yuen

Elder Chuk-lam Yuen was born in Taishan, China and grew up in Hong Kong before immigrating to the United States with his family. He studied math and physics at the University of Wisconsin Madison and received his Ph.D. in physics from SUNY Stony Brook University. In 1980, he married his college sweetheart Angela, and they moved to the Boston area, where he began working at Raytheon and started to attend BCEC. Chuk-lam was baptized in New Life Church of Christ in Hong Kong. He has been teaching Chinese Sunday School shortly after joining BCEC. He also served on the Board of Deacons in various positions including secretary, treasurer, personnel and vice-chair. In 2004, Chuk-lam was ordained as an elder at BCEC. He likes reading and music (classical and selective contemporary, Chinese and Western).
Chuk-lam and Angela have a grown-up daughter Danielle and they live in Framingham, MA.
