Elder T. Jack Lee was born and raised in Hong Kong and immigrated to the United States at age 13. God led him to a Christian summer retreat in 1972 where he accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. He was baptized at Oversea Chinese Mission in New York City the following summer, before going away for college. After college and medical school, Elder Jack came to Boston and BCEC in 1981 with his wife Susana. They raised their two daughters, Adrienne and Deborah, here.

At BCEC, Susana and Elder Jack have both served in Children’s Sunday School and Kids Club and on the Board of Deacons. Elder Jack currently teaches 5th graders in Sunday School and serves on the Board of Elders and the Expansion Committee.

Elder Jack’s hobbies used to be drawing and playground basketball. He was nicknamed Jack DeBusschere in his heyday, but in recent years has been relegated to be a Monday morning quarterback. He hopes to get back to more drawing after his retirement from medicine.
