BCEC has many adult ministries across two campuses, with fellowships and small groups in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Our goal is to build a community of believers – a channel for members to support and grow together in God’s word. Come join an adult ministry group for Bible study, workshops, topical studies, small group discussion, fun nights, outings etc.

Adult Ministry at Chinatown Campus

Adult Large Group & Small Groups – English

Adult Small Groups meet in various locations in the greater Boston Metropolitan area. These groups meet for Bible study and prayer every week, as well as organize outside activities. On certain months, we also have Adult Large Group, which draws adults from our congregation for music, teaching, discussion, and fellowship. Joshua 1 Fellowship (J1) – Cantonese

Life stage: Singles between ages 24-40
J1 aims to build a community of believers in the real world. Through Bible study, speakers, topical studies, small groups, fun nights, outings etc., we strive to learn to love what God loves, to grow holistically, and to be accountable to one another.

Ruth Fellowship – Cantonese

Ruth Fellowship welcomes sisters between the ages of 30 to 60 to join! Our program include Bible studies, seminars, sharing, outings, and workshops to help us understand God’s Word and know one another better.

Women’s Fellowship – Cantonese

Serving women of age 40 and older, our fellowship aims to promote mutual caring, love, and service, with an emphasis on the application of God’s Word in all aspects of our lives. On the last Sunday of each month, BCEC’s basement is crowded with more than a hundred during lunch time, a warm and inviting atmosphere of the Women’s Fellowship. Each month we gather together to build better relationships. We sing hymns before each meeting. We also have quarterly birthday parties to celebrate our members’ birthdays. We have our own monthly fellowship publication that includes monthly Bible verses, meditation, prayers, main articles, member witness etc. We welcome brothers (yes, brothers!) and sisters to join and enjoy our fellowship.

Peter Fellowship (Men’s Group) – Cantonese

Peter Fellowship strives to be a platform, program, or channel for 35 years and older men through prayer, sharing, discussion and collective action to support and build up one another in God’s word. Our fellowship aims to foster a better relationship with God, better family relationships, and better relationship with our church and our community. We pray and share with one another, and have Bible studies, workshops, coffee gatherings, community services, fun activities, and retreats. Emmanuel Fellowship – Mandarin

Emmanuel Fellowship is a mixed group of college-aged and graduate students, and young professionals. Many of our members came from Mainland China. Our fellowship aims to build up a culture of support and sharing through Bible study, exhortation, and account¬ability. The many talents of our brothers and sisters, such as vocal and music, caring, teaching, and counseling have enriched the joyful atmosphere of a loving fellowship. We also have mentoring and accountability groups to help cultivate and nurture our relationship with Christ and with each other.

Paul Fellowship – Mandarin

Paul Fellowship is a fellowship for families. The goal is to support one another and build a shared culture through Bible study and activities.

Berea Fellowship – Mandarin

Berea Fellowship is led by a group of seniors devoted in the Word of God. They are old in age and young at heart. The deep sharing from the heart and soul was ignited by the depth of love from our Christ. With a heart to outreach, this fellowship also serves in one-on-one discipleship for seekers in all age groups.

Sucai Fellowship – Mandarin

This fellowship is a mixed age group of young adults, young to mid-aged couples with children and seniors. Most of our members are workers from the restaurant and service industries. They meet for singpiration, Bible study and sharing on Tuesday mornings before they depart for work. It’s a big warm family with a simple heart to care for, support, and encourage each other to walk with our Heavenly Father.

Daniel Fellowship – Cantonese

Daniel fellowship is a mixed-aged group with a three-fold purpose: To get to know one another, to learn Biblical truths, and to share the gospel. At each meeting, we aim to strengthen the bonds between members through prayer and various activities; build upon our spiritual foundation through teaching, workshop, and Bible study; and encourage service in the church as well as in the surrounding community.
