BCEC AWANA
Introduction
AWANA is a global, non-profit ministry committed to the belief that the greatest impact for Christ starts with kids who know, love, and serve our Lord Jesus Christ. The BCEC AWANA program is conducted in English at our Newton campus, and it runs on Friday nights from 7:30pm to 9:00pm, with optional supervised care from 9:00pm to 9:30pm.
There are three components in each meeting:
- a large group time taught by Club Director
- an engaging game time led by Game Director
- a handbook time in which children work on their handbooks and recite bible verses at their own pace or in a small group setting
You may enroll your children into one of the four AWANA clubs:
- Cubbies (age 3 by 9/1/2016 – Pre-K)
- Sparks (Kindergarten – Grade 2)
- T&T (Grade 3-5)
- Trek (Grade 6-8)
Our AWANA program is also constantly seeking adult and youth volunteers to serve as mentors to practice their faith and develop leadership skills.
