BCEC has many ministries dedicated to couples and families with children. These community groups are spread across two campuses, with fellowships and small groups in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Join us for dinners, gatherings, outings, seminars, and programs on family issues.

Couple and Family Ministry in Chinatown Campus

Family Fellowship – English

The Chinatown English Family Fellowship welcomes married couples and families to our monthly gatherings. We meet at Newton Campus for worship, study, discussions, dinner and fun on the second Saturday of each month from autumn to spring. Our goal is to help members live out God’s will the midst of our busy lives as spouses and parents. We aim to learn through study and through one another. We support each other through growing relationships, challenge each other to continually move forward in our walk with God despite distractions from our daily family life. During the study portion of our meetings, childcare is provided for infants and elementary aged children while middle and high school members participate in a self-guided curriculum.

When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 4:30-7:30pm, starting with meals together

Song of Songs Fellowship – Cantonese

The fellowship aims to promote Christian marriage relationships and Christian family life through various seminars, Bible study and discussions. We welcome all married couples to participate. In addition to the regular monthly meetings, we also have small groups to help our members develop closer fellowship, understand one another better and hence support, love, and care for one another more.

When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month, 5:30pm, starting with meals together

Elim Fellowship – Cantonese

Our goal is for Elim families to share one another’s spiritual burdens, live Christ-centered life, and build loving Christian families. Whether they are moving onto another stage of life, being challenged in different ways, or looking for life direction, we hope that through fellowship programs, Bible studies, small groups and workshops,, brothers and sisters can share their difficulties and joy with one another, and support each other.

When: Every 1st Saturday of the month at 3:00pm

Joshua Couples Fellowship – Cantonese

Our Purpose: Support for practicing Christian values through genuine sharing, reminders and encouragement; further Biblical understanding and spiritual growth; contribute to the church vitality by providing “a home within home” to church married couples between ages 30-60.

When: Every 2nd Saturday of the month at 5:30pm, start with meal together

Sucai Fellowship – Mandarin

This fellowship is a mixed age group of young adults, young to mid-aged couples with children and seniors. Most of our members are workers from the restaurant and service industries. They meet for singpiration, Bible study and sharing on Tuesday mornings before they depart for work. It’s a big warm family with a simple heart to care for, support, and encourage each other to walk with our Heavenly Father.

When: Every Tuesday at 9:30am

Paul Fellowship – Mandarin

Paul Fellowship is a gathering like a big family of young couples, mid-aged couples, and couples close to be seniors. We share God’s grace and word through our daily encounters, and encourage each other through the valley of darkness and rejoice together in His high mountain. Embracing professionals from all walks of life – academic, technology and service, we have a humble and warm integration of all age groups and background by the unity of Holy Spirit.

When: Every Friday evening at 7:30pm

Moses Fellowship – Mandarin

Moses Fellowship is a mixed age group of students, young adults, couples with family, to seniors. This is also a big gathering time for Chinatown Mandarin Congregation. We sing hymn, share Bible and testimony, and even play dynamic group game to encourage the intimate relationships across generations. The young generation is encouraged by the seniors’ wisdom and patience in Christ. Seniors are encouraged by the young generations’ energy and passion in Christ.

When: The 2nd Sunday of each month at 12:30pm

TLC Home Groups – English

TLC stands for “Testifying, Loving, Coaching.” We believe great experience of Christian family happens in small groups. Currently, we have groups meeting on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at various locations. If you are interested in joining a small group, please contact Pastor Enoch Liao.

The fellowship aims to strengthen the spiritual foundation of its members through Bible study so as to be a blessed group of God and be a blessing to others, especially to the Mandarin-speaking Chinese in the Newton neighborhood. Nursery, children, and youth programs are provided in basement during fellowship time.
